An Alice in Wonderland quote bookmark: Illutrated with images from Rackham artw

These bookmarks are created with the amazing artwork of Arthur Rackham's illustrations for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. There are 5 bookmarks in this range: Alice falling down the rabbit hole; The King & Queen of Hearts at the trial of the Knave of Hearts; the Caterpillar; The Cheshire Cat; and The Mad Hatters tea-party. All you need to do is pick your favourite!
Arthur Rackham's illustrations are possibly some of the most recognisable from the Golden Age of British childrens storybooks... but despite how influential his work has been on later artists, it is often simply seen as "pictures for children".
And although oft overlooked, Rackham's Alices Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are beautifully detailed. I have digitally enhanced the originals before editing them to present the original art in a form that is not currently available anywhere else; heat sublimating the print onto an Aluminium bookmark measuring 13cm tall, 3.5cm wide and 0.5mm thick.
Each of the 4 bookmarks depict different scenes, and carry a quote relevant to the characters:
Alice, falling down the rabbit hole, bears the quote, "What's the use of a book without pictures, or conversations".
The King of Hearts, saying "Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop".
The Caterpillar, "Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle".
"We're all maqd here" says the Cheshire Cat.
And the Mad Hatters tea party explaining, "Yes that's it, it's always tea-time, and we've no time to wash the things between whiles".
Each is hand made to order, and sent on a backing card.
